Charter Bus to Sun Studio

Sun Studio claims the birth of rock 'n' roll — Sam Phillips's tiny 1950 studio recorded 'That's All Right' with Elvis in 1954, and the Million Dollar Quartet session (Elvis + Cash + Perkins + Lewis) happened in this room by accident in 1956. The guided tour ends standing on the actual recording floor around the original microphones; it's still a working studio that records bands at night.

706 Union Ave, Memphis, TN 38103 Rock-and-roll's birthplace — stand where Elvis, Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis first recorded.
