Know before you go

• The park entrances funnel through one main gate — set a landmark meeting spot inside for mid-day regrouping.
• Quarry walls mean heat radiates in summer — water park breaks are how groups survive July trips.
• Grad Nite and school-music-festival days fill the park with student groups in spring — book buses early for those dates.

Tips for group trips

• About 20 miles northwest of downtown on I-10 — bus staging is in designated oversize lots; confirm lot assignments on busy days.
• Group tickets for 15+ come with big discounts plus meal plans — schools book months ahead for spring trips.
• Water park + dry park in one admission — tell groups to pack swim gear in summer.
