Charter Bus to National Civil Rights Museum

The museum is built inside and around the Lorraine Motel — the balcony where Dr. King was shot on April 4, 1968 is preserved under the wreath, and Room 306 is kept as he left it. Inside, exhibits walk the movement chronologically: the Montgomery bus boycott, the Freedom Rides, the lunch-counter sit-ins, ending at the 1968 sanitation workers' strike that brought King to Memphis. It's one of the country's most important museums.
